Warkworth Golf Club Synopsis

Visitors can play 5 days a week with Tuesday and Saturdays reserved for member play only. There is one greenkeeper at Warkworth Golf Club but an army of willing volunteers helps keep the course in tip-top shape.

Warkworth has nine holes but 18 tees. There is a single Par 5 of 476 yards and two Par 3’s which measure 177 and 217 yards respectively. The remainder are two-shot holes that stretch from 309 yards to 400 yards.

The first three holes are not of Old Tom Morris’ vintage. The remaining six are, however. In fact, the fourth hole was named ‘Wee Killiekrankie’ by the grand man himself and survives until today.

The first five holes play over the most spirited topography but for a nine-hole pure links golf, you can’t ask for much more!
