Overview
Cullen Links Golf Club is found in a small village in Moray, Scotland. East of Elgin on the North Sea coast, the course sits on Cullen Beach overlooking Cullen Bay. The 18 hole course was opened in 1905 after being extended from 9 holes.
At just 4,600 yards, the golf course is a unique par 63. Holes 2 through 6 play above the linksland with the balance of the holes nearer the seaside. Of the eighteen holes, there are ten Par 3's and one Par 5! Three of the two-shot holes come at the end of the round on holes 16, 17 and 18.
Tom Doak calls Cullen Links Golf Club 'crazy', 'worth the visit just for the novelty of it' and 'different than anything I've played.'
The iconic red sandstone rock is part of what makes it so unique just happens to be 400 million years old!
