Full Course Review

Alnmouth Village Golf Club was established in 1869 making it the oldest 9 hole golf links in England. The course was designed by Musselburgh professional and Open Championship winner, Mungo Park. Not only was he the architect... he was also the first Keeper of the Green and Professional!

Overlooking Alnmouth Bay and Coquet Island, a round of golf over the undulating fairways present plenty of challenges. An opening par three of 182 yards is followed by a stretch of 8 par fours. The longest hole on the course is the 434 yard 8th - the only hole on the course measuring more than 400 yards. Three of the nine holes measure less the 300 yards. It all adds up to a quick round filled with risk and reward options. At just 2790 yards, it is solid golf played firm and fast!
