Golf Course Review
Alnmouth Village Golf Club was established in 1869 and was designed by Musselburgh professional and Open Championship winner, Mungo Park. Overlooking Alnmouth Bay and Coquet Island, a round of golf over the undulating fairways present plenty of challenges.
Alnmouth Village Golf Club Synopsis
An opening par three of 182 yards is followed by a stretch of 8 par fours. The eight par 4’s range from 294 yards to 473 yards with the longest being the 8th. Three of the nine holes measure less the 300 yards. At just 2790 yards, it is solid golf played firm and fast!
All in all, it adds up to a quick round filled with risk and reward options. Perhaps the most appealing part is it will cost you less than £20!
