The world’s greatest golf spectacle, the Ryder Cup is a biennial golf competition between the best male golfers from the USA and Europe.

Originally it was a competition between the USA and Great Britain and Ireland. It is organised by the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe, a joint venture between the PGA European Tour, the PGA of GB&I and the PGA’s of Europe.

The Ryder Cup is the men’s equivalent of the Solheim Cup.
