The first edition of The Golf Course was published in 1981 (IBSN 9780831739430). It was revised and republished in 1985 and 1987 (IBSN 9780831739478). However, don’t buy any of them.
Purchase instead, “The Architects of Golf”, a completely revised third edition, from 1992.
