Synopsis

In the book Golf Course Architecture, Dr Michael Hurdzan states the purpose of the book is not to make the reader a golf course architect. However, it does shed abundant light on every part of the design and construction process in great detail.

Golf Course Architecture is divided into two parts: Theory and Practice. The second half of the book highlights the work involved before any dirt is moved on site. It includes information from Site Analysis to Plans and Bidding.

The entire book is updated for the second edition and contains up to 50% new material compared to the first. It's worth investing in the second edition.
