Welcome to Evalu18’s Best Golf Courses in Kent – Inland Edition! Some of the UK’s best golf courses are in Kent – a county in the south-east of England. Kent has an abundance of great golf and while most visitors flock to Surrey or Berkshire from London, Kent is worth consideration for your next golf adventure.

Recent additions compared to Knole Park, both golf courses at London Golf Club provide an American style flavour to the golf on offer. The Heritage is a Jack Nicklaus design and host of the European Open.
The International is a Ron Kirby design that was host to the Volvo World Matchplay Championship in 2014 and is also used by the R&A as a Regional Qualifying Venue for The Open.
The Wild Card
Chart Hills is a short 45-minute drive into Kent and away from the other 4 golf courses. Recently purchased by the same group which owns Princes, investment has quickly followed. You will be hearing a lot more about this Sir Nick Faldo design in the next few years as it returns to its former glory! We think it may just become the premier inland golf destination in Kent!
The Addington Golf Club is not in Kent but it is well situated in relation to the other 5. Another JF Abercromby and Harry Colt layout, the promise of restoration in the capable hands of CDP (Clayton, DeVries and Pont) this course is set for a meteoric rise in the rankings!
The best inland golf courses in Kent are mostly located just outside the London’s ring road, the M25. Moreover, they’re within easy reach of both Gatwick Airport and London City Centre Airport. With food, drink and accommodation and all of London’s attractions close by, the inland offers are mighty tempting.
