Lough Erne Resort

Overview
Too many golf courses blend in with each other. They are homogenous and lack any very defining characteristics. There can be no criticism of that nature leveled against Lough Erne. Iconic accommodation, distinctive bunkering, and red sand make this course instantly recognizable.
Golf Course Review
Lough Erne Resort is a 5-star hotel resort in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland with breathtaking vistas of the Fermanagh Lakelands. The resort is conveniently located 2 hours from both Dublin and Belfast.
Lough Erne Resort Faldo Course
The Faldo Course is an 18-hole Sir Nick Faldo-designed parkland course that is known for its superb all-year-round playing conditions. It opened in 2009 in the mold of other high-end inland courses like Adare Manor. Water comes into play on 11 of 18 holes with views of the Lough afforded on every hole.
The course can also test the best... Rory McIlroy holds the course record, a four-under 68 from the 7071 yard back tees. Rory was the attached professional early in his career.
Castle Hume Golf Course
The second 18 hole golf course is the Castle Hume Course. The course has hosted the Ulster PGA Championship 10 times and is a resort, parkland course. If you can only play one of the two, it's the Faldo Course that should be your pick.
