MacKenzie Golf Bags

Scroll businesses A-Z

MacKenzie Golf Bags is a brand synonymous with the spirit of the game. Simple, elegant and minimalist, the company has its roots located at none other than the Old Course in Scotland.

In 1985, Peter Jacobson and his brother were playing the Old Course. A local caddy named Rick MacKenzie decanted their clubs into two leather pencil bags which he used carrying double for the week.

Returning home, they commissioned a local craftsman to replicate the bag. The result? More or less the iconic MacKenzie Walker we love today. Hand built and using only the highest quality materials the bag is designed to carry your clubs, balls and little else in an elegant manner.

The initial choice is simple: one pocket, known as the Sunday walker or two pockets, known as the Original Walker. Next, chose the material: leather, waxed canvas, or ballistic nylon. After that, the sky is the limit. You can select the colours of virtually every part of the bag and customise it to your heart’s content. If you don’t see it listed, ask!
